Budgets
Budgets allows you to keep an eye on your spending by designating how much you are willing to spend in certain categories. With iReconcile, you have an amazing amount of control over your budgets, even more than most “budget” apps have!
Not all budgets are monthly!
Most finance management apps that have a budget feature limit you to monthly budgets. Not iReconcile. Each budget you build can have its own start date, and a custom period, including any number of Days, Weeks, Months, or Years.
Rollover those unused funds
With rollover enabled, your unused funds from a period will roll over into the next period. For example, if you allocate $50 a week to entertainment, but you only spend $40 this week, next week you will have additional $10 for a total of $60. Be careful though, because rollover works both ways. If you over spend, your next period will be reduced.
You choose the categories and accounts
For each budget, you can specify which accounts to include. If you don’t, all accounts will be used. Similarly, you can specify which categories to use. When configuring categories, you can choose to hide subcategories. Doing this will “catch” any subcategories automatically, so you don’t have to remember to add new subcategories to that budget. Watching your money just got a little bit easier!
View any period with a swipe of your finger
All budgets are listed together, but when you tap a budget, you will see more detailed information about the current period. To see pervious (or future) periods, just swipe left or right. All the information you need is in one place, including how much the initial budget was, rollover amount, spent amount, and how much is left.
