Memorized Transactions & Scheduling
If you make recurring payments, Memorized Transactions can make your life little easier. Create the transaction once, and iReconcile tucks it away so you can reuse it any time you want
Any transaction that can be created in the register can also be memorized. This includes standard transactions, and even those with split transactions. Do you perform a transfer between the same 2 accounts often? You can even memorize a transfer!
Automatically post your memorized transactions
For those of you who like to automate things, auto-post is just for you! Simply specify the account and a schedule, and iReconcile will do the rest. When choosing your schedule, you can define a period of any number of days, weeks months, or years. There are also predefined schedules that don’t quite fit into “periods,” such as one-time and last day of the month. iReconcile can even adjust a schedule if it falls on a weekend. Want your transaction to post on Friday if it falls on a weekend? No problem!
View one month in advance right in the register
If you’ve scheduled your memorized transactions, you can use the “Look-Ahead” feature within the transaction register to see how your account will look in the next month. Simply turn on “Look-Ahead,” and all scheduled transactions will artificially post to the register (highlighted in pale blue for distinction). You will even be able to see accurate balances (daily and even by transaction). Editing and reconciling are (naturally) turned off for Look-Ahead transactions.
